Rugged Science Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) ruggedized computers can provide power and data over a single cable. Why should you care? Installation and maintenace costs can be dramatically reduced after eliminating the need for power supplies for Ethernet-enabled devices placed in challenging locations. Rugged Science computers are ideally suited to control and power PoE+ capable devices such as wireless access points or IP cameras on a ceiling or outdoors.
